At Medical Park Ordu Hospital, a heart valve procedure was successfully performed without traditional surgery. The operation was carried out on 78-year-old Mohamed Ali Elhejjaji, who traveled from Libya to Ordu, and it was completed successfully.
Prof. Dr. Ali Civelek explained that in the early stages, coronary artery diseases often show no symptoms. He noted that as narrowing in the coronary arteries increases, less blood reaches the heart muscle, leading to chest pain. “This pain is a sign that the heart is not receiving enough blood. It is a very serious warning,” he emphasized.
Necati Acu, 51, who was visiting his father-in-law in Ordu, experienced chest and back pain and was examined, revealing the need for a bypass surgery. He underwent the procedure without opening the chest and successfully recovered, being discharged in good health.
